The Reality of Life for a Commando.

The lad that quits first.

In the first ten minutes you see the recruits arriving at the school, they do the first briefing, before engaging for 28 days and the test of the capture. I like how the officers react to the “humbling bravery” of the young man standing for himself and saying “I just can’t do that, it’s not that I don’t want to”. Wow…. have been there myself in another contest and I know that courage of asking to a manager to meet in private. On one side, you don’t want to disappoint anybody, but your inner voice is shouting out loud “cmon, get out of here”.

break the stigma

A second good opportunity.

As the officer said, right after trying a little bit to convince the guy : “It’s great to have a second good opportunity”. It’s something that I have been also learning in my journey from PTSD recovery and job requalification. At the first beginning, I found myself unfit to the job I was passionate about, I wanted to go up to the excellence of that career and me too, I have been pushed into a little bit by my management.

Or I did not have much of options …what I knew, it was that I wanted to do that job for the rest of my life, and I did not certainly want to go back ……

Have been pushed into it a little bit

[sc_fs_faq html=”true” headline=”h2″ img=”” question=”What is the difference between a commando and a soldier?” img_alt=”” css_class=””] is that commando is a small fighting force specially trained for making quick destructive raids against enemy-held areas while army is a large, highly organized military force, concerned mainly with ground (rather than air or naval) operations. Hi Crew, this is my tribute to Trauma as an Empath Warrior. In the aftermath of Paris attacks, in 2015, I was hotel assistant in elite resorts when my life fell apart. Since then it's been a night sea journey that I am glad to share around the fire with beers on me. Cheers xx
